West End Presbyterian Church (WEPC) being a congregation of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) is committed to the Scriptures, the Great Commission and the Reformed Faith.

The vision for our church is:

For God’s glory, WEPC desires to be a God-honoring, Christ-exalting, Holy Spirit-empowered community of authentic and loving Christians to reach our generation with the gospel.

The core values of WEPC are:

Worship—since God alone is worthy of our praise we seek to worship Him in spirit and truth (John 4:23-24). We desire to keep Him the object and focus of our worship making Him the prime audience (Romans 11:36). We desire to keep Him the subject of our worship making all the elements of worship to magnify Him. Therefore, true worship is the redeemed worshipping their Redeemer about their redemption (Revelation 4-5).

Discipleship—since every Christian is to be thoroughly equipped in their faith we seek to disciple our members to actively grow to maturity so that they can understand who God is and what obedience He requires of His people (Ephesians 4:11-14; 2Timothy 3:15). Since all Christians are to actively minister to others we seek to equip our members to determine their spiritual gifts, to develop their spiritual gifts, and to delight in how God has gifted them (Romans 12; 1Corinthains 12).

Outreach—since Christian’s posses the good news of what Jesus Christ did for us in His perfect life and sacrificial death we must be diligently sharing that message with those in Hopewell, the surrounding communities, our state, our nation, and the entire world through intentional outreach and missions (Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 1:8).
