First Time VisitorsThere is ample parking available, especially in the S. 15th Ave. lot. You may enter at the doorway and follow the signs to the sanctuary or take the sidewalk to enter through the steeple door entrance. (Circled on the image to the left.) Once inside, you will find friendly greeters waiting to welcome you! At our hospitality table, you will even find a welcome gift and some information about WEPC. If it's the first Sunday of the month, you may enjoy free coffee and donuts just outside the foyer in the map room.

ChildrenWe provide child care for infants and toddlers during the service. One of our greeters can direct you to the nurseries. Elementary-aged children may take advantage of one of our Catechism Clubs during the sermon where they will study God's Word using question and answers. One of our teachers will direct the students where to go. Because we love our families and children, all our child care volunteers go through thorough background checks and follow our child safety policies.

What to ExpectDo I need to get dressed up to visit West End?
Will I be asked to stand up as a visitor? Do I have to have my life together before attending? Those are all great questions! West End has people from a variety of backgrounds, so you will find people in suits and people in shorts. Everyone is welcome here. We do love visitors and you will likely be greeted by many from our friendly congregation, but we will not single you out during worship. Once you are here, you will realize that our pastor, leaders and members aren't perfect and we don't expect you to be either. We are all sinners loved by a perfect savior. When you do visit, you can expect to hear a variety of hymns and more modern songs led by our talented musicians. Our worship will include readings, prayers, a offering (As a visitor, please don't feel any pressure to give.) and a message from God's Word. Our pastor likes to preach through books of the Bible, point us to Jesus and give us ways to put God's Word into practice in our daily lives. On the first Sunday of the month we celebrate communion together. Most services last around 1 hour. Please contact us if you have more questions. |
